Students will receive an email notice once their Financial Aid Notification (FAN) is ready to be viewed in OSCAR. OSFA will begin releasing the Financial Aid Notification (FAN) to applicants with completed and finalized applications and that are officially accepted for admission according to student classification.
Our office will begin notifying students of their Award Notices during the following times according to student classification:
First-year students: Mid-April
Returning students: Mid-June
Transfer students: Mid-June for fall entrants.
Graduate students: June-July.
Graduate students receiving a Graduate Assistantship and/or Fellowship should contact their academic department or outside fellowship sponsors to determine their award levels. As our office becomes aware of additional forms of aid, we will revise your award as necessary.
It is important for you to understand the information in your financial aid notification. Check out our guide for how to read your financial aid notification.
Understand Your Notification
Though you’ve received a financial aid notification, your financial aid will not be disbursed until you accept or decline your award.
